I’m sick of it. I can’t even watch the news any more when children are dying in front of the world’s eyes & no one is stopping it
This was an exclamation of pain from a young lady really concern. I responded to her as follows
It gives me a great pain to see pictures of dead people but it breaks my heart to see innocent children dead due to stupid ideological ideas of people in command. Believe me great amount of people is doing something about this problem is that no Mather how hard we all tried the situation is not going to change unless we start loving each other. we have start forgiving.; we have to see each other like brothers & sisters .we are all part of a big family we are all human we can’t hate other people just because they are black Chinese Hispanic Israelis or Arabs we have to give freedom of speech, we have to give every buddy the right to choose their religion or their way of leaving we have to respect freedom we have to understand that our freedom ends were the others commence.

NEW DIRECTOR OF THE INTELLIGENCE STAFF JOINS ODNI

Lt. Gen. John F. “Jeff” Kimmons has joined the Office of the Director of National Intelligence as director of the intelligence staff. He arrived Feb. 28 from the Pentagon, where he served as the deputy chief of staff, G-2 -- the top intelligence officer on the U.S. Army Staff.

Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair noted that Kimmons brings a reputation for outstanding leadership and collegiality to his new position.

“Jeff Kimmons has a wealth of experience and a keen appreciation of the need for insightful intelligence to support the national security decision-making process. I look to him to help strengthen the ODNI and our Intelligence Community as we face new challenges,” Blair said.

The director of the intelligence staff is the third ranking official within the ODNI and oversees the staff to ensure the effective integration and coordination of policy and procedures across the Intelligence Community.

Lt. Gen. Kimmons’ command assignments include commanding general, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Ft. Belvoir, Va., and commander, 519th Military Intelligence Battalion, Ft. Bragg, N.C.

His other senior intelligence leadership assignments include duty with the U.S. Central Command, MacDill AFB, Tampa, Fla., as the director for intelligence; deputy director for operations, National Military Command Center, the Joint Staff, Washington, D.C., and at Ft. Bragg as the director of intelligence, Joint Special Operations Command. Lt. Gen. Kimmons also served as an intelligence officer with the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-DELTA at Ft. Bragg.

Lt. Gen. Kimmons holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from The Citadel and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Lt. Gen. Kimmons succeeds Lt. Gen. Ronald L. Burgess, Jr. recently appointed the 17th Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
