Porque tal como juzguen se les juzgará, y con la medida que midan a otros, se les medirá a ustedes. Mientras aguardamos la bendita esperanza, es decir, la gloriosa venida de nuestro gran Dios y Salvador Jesucristo. Él se entregó por nosotros para rescatarnos de toda maldad y purificar para sí un pueblo elegido, dedicado a hacer el bien. Hermanos míos, si alguno de ustedes se extravía de la verdad, y otro lo hace volver a ella, recuerden que quien hace volver a un pecador de su extravío, lo salvará de la muerte y cubrirá muchísimos pecados. Si confesamos nuestros pecados, Dios, que es fiel y justo, nos los perdonará y nos limpiará de toda maldad. Porque con el corazón se cree para ser justificado, pero con la boca se confiesa para ser salvo. Porque por gracia ustedes han sido salvados mediante la fe; esto no procede de ustedes, sino que es el regalo de Dios, no por obras, para que nadie se jacte. Luego los que estemos vivos, los que hayamos quedado, seremos arrebatados junto con ellos en las nubes para encontrarnos con el Señor en el aire. Y así estaremos con el Señor para siempre. Está escrito: Tan cierto como que yo vivo dice el Señor, ante mí se doblará toda rodilla y toda lengua confesará a Dios. Así que cada uno de nosotros tendrá que dar cuentas de sí a Dios. Porque es tiempo de que el juicio comience por la casa de Dios; y si comienza por nosotros primero, ¿cuál será el fin de los que no obedecen al evangelio de Dios? 1 Pedro 4:17
