Me parece interesante que Raul Castro esta decidiendo ahora de dejar a los Cubanos viajar. Será que el quiere poner a George Bush y los Estados Unidos en una situacion rara mientras que hay tantos por los inmigrantes ilegales?

Piensalo. Que pasará si muchos Cubanos empezaron a llegar a Florida ahora con el debate inmigracion tan fuerte? Permitira los de Florida dejar a todos entrar por asilo? Cual seria el limite.

Creo que eso podria poner a los republicanos en una rara situacion de decidir entre los Cubanos y los contra los inmigrantes ilegales.

Creo que ya estamos viendo cambios en Cuba, y el gobierno quiere utilizar el debate de inmigracion en Estados Unidos para joder a los republicanos... va a ser interesante.

This week in NY started the Tribeca Film Festival. It's been off to a great start for me. Thursday night, I went to see a movie called Elite Squad. A powerful film about police corruption, drugs, and the upper class in Rio. The acting was superb, especially, the male lead, Wagner Moura. I think people would really enjoy the film, the film is very intense. One of the screenplay writers also wrote Ciudad de Dios, and there is a similar feel to them.

Tonight, I went to see the US premiere of Paraiso Travel. This movie has been very popular in Colombia, and it's a great story of two young Colombians from Medellin who leave home without telling their families to come up to the USA and then make it to Queens. Aldemar Correa and Angelica Blandon really connected and I hope they can become big stars in the future. John Leguizamo and Ana de la Reguera also have important roles in the film. The writer, Jorge Franco, also wrote Rosario Tijeras, an amazing story. I really hope Paraiso Travel gets good exposure in the US, I think people will really connect with it, and understand the struggle of many young immigrants in this country. While parts are a little over the top, the movie is very entertaining, and you will really connect with the characters.

Estaba leyendo The Secret y quería saber si alguien más ha leido ese libro. A mi me parece muy interesante y ya me ha ayudado en mi vida.
