I've been waiting for a few days to elapse after the Lady Di anniversary. Even at this distance from her death, there are many raw nerves. I too needed a break as my patience is low where I suspect mawkish behaviour. Any earlier, my post would have been so written that annoyance surely would be caused.

So, draft and re-draft. Cut, add, trim. Greatest work of art since War & Peace. And then I found someone else had made a far better summary of how Di is remembered. So, that is that. Fold up my soap box and go away.
